Thermal Manipulation for Sustainable Energy Electronics
Yi Zhou
Yi Zhou is currently a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and has recently obtained his Ph.D. from NUS. His research interest has been primarily focused on topological thermal manipulation for sustainable energy electronics over the past 9 years. To date, he has authored 25 papers, with 14 of them as first/co-first author in top-tier journals, such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, and National Science Review. He has given 8 oral presentations at ICT/VCT, ICONE, and CPS Fall Meeting. He received several awards for his academic achievements, including the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad, the International Thermoelectric Society Graduate Award, and Chun-Tsung Scholar. Also, he has secured funding at provincial levels, such as the Key Projects of Guangdong Province College Students' "Climbing Plan". In addition to his research endeavours, he has been granted 21 invention patents and transferred 14 IPs with assignment fees of CNY 1.1 million. Moreover, he is serving as a peer-review referee of top journals (Nano Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal, Energy Conversion and Management) and the Horizon Europe Programme.
周毅，2023年7月博士毕业于新加坡国立大学微电子技术与器件专业，目前任职于新加坡国立大学博士后研究员。主要从事拓扑热调控与可持续能量电子器件方面研究。截至目前，获得中国政府优秀自费留学生奖学金、国际热电学会研究生奖、校“十佳”优秀毕业生、国家奖学金、君政学者等荣誉奖励多次；共发表论文25篇，其中以第一（含共同）作者在Nature Nanotechnology、Nature Communications、Science Advances、《国家科学评论》、《科学通报》等国际一流期刊上发表论文14篇；在国际热电大会、国际核工程大会、中国物理学会秋季会议作口头报告8次；主持广东省大学生“攀登计划”（重点项目）等省部级项目4项；授权发明专利21项（其中美国专利3项）并转让14项，累计专利转让金额110万元。长期担任Nano Energy、Chemical Engineering Journal、Energy Conversion and Management、Applied Physics Letters等期刊独立审稿人，受邀作为“地平线欧洲”项目评议人。
