Thermal Manipulation for Sustainable Electronics
Yi Zhou
Dr Zhou is currently a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and obtained his PhD from the same university. His research interest lies in topological thermal manipulation for sustainable electronics (pyro/thermoelectrics) over the past decade. To date, he has authored 27 papers, with 16 of them as (co-)first author in top journals, such as Nature Reviews Physics, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Joule, and National Science Review. He has given 15 oral or invited presentations at ICT, ICONE, CPS Fall Meeting, and renowned universities. He secured early career training grants at provincial levels, such as the Key Projects of Guangdong Province College Students' "Climbing Plan" (CNY 180k), and he held 21 granted US/Chinese patents. He received the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad, the International Thermoelectric Society Graduate Student Award, and Chun-Tsung Scholar owing to research excellence. Moreover, he serves as the Editorial Advisory Board member of APL Electronic Devices, the independent reviewer of 10+ top journals (Nature series, Joule, Nano Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal), and the invited survey expert of Horizon Europe Programme.
周毅,2023年7月博士毕业于新加坡国立大学微电子技术与器件专业,目前任职于新加坡国立大学博士后研究员。主要从事拓扑热调控与可持续电子器件(热电/热释电)方面研究。获得中国政府优秀自费留学生奖学金、国际热电学会研究生奖、校“十佳”毕业生、䇹政学者、国家奖学金等荣誉奖励多次;共发表论文27篇,其中以第一(含共同)作者在Nature Reviews Physics、Nature Nanotechnology、Nature Communications、Science Advances、Joule、《国家科学评论》、《科学通报》等国际一流期刊上发表论文16篇;在国际热电大会、国际核工程大会、中国物理学会秋季会议及国内外高校作口头/邀请报告15次;主持广东省大学生“攀登计划”(重点项目)等省部级项目4项;授权发明专利21项(其中美国专利3项)并转让14项。目前受邀担任APL Electronic Devices期刊顾问编委,并担任Nature系列、Joule、Nano Energy、CEJ、ECM、Nanoscale、APL等期刊独立审稿人和“地平线欧洲”项目评议人。
